Helena’s Hawaiian Food is a James Beard award winner and Hawaiian institution. . It’s also a no-frills sort of restaurant that’s casual enough for kids. Great food for Mom and Dad, but not too stuffy for the little ones. Although, authentic Hawaiian food may not be ideal for picky eaters.

Uncle Clay’s House of Pure Aloha

Liliha Bakery is another Honolulu institution. This bakery serves famous favorites like Coco Puff Chantilly cupcake and hot cross bun. If you’re headed out of Honolulu, you definitely want to hit Seven Brothers in the North Shore. You’ll find some of the best burgers in Hawaii. They offer a selection of modern burgers and shakes. The also offer four kinds of fries! The world famous Dole Whip is also worth visiting in Wahiawa. The Dole Whip is a frozen, soft serve, which can only be found at Dole Plantation and at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
