While it does seem like its summer year-round in Hawaii, there are some slight differences between summer and winter on the Islands to look out for. The weather is slightly different and there are seasonal events to discover. From beautiful scenery to great places to eat, there’s something for everyone in Hawaii. Hawaii’s answer to Sundance, the Maui Film Festival at Wailea & Kahului is the best part of the year! The festival takes place over five days every June and is nicknamed the “Cinema-Under-the-Stars.” Hollywood films are projected under the starlit sky in Maui. The weeklong festival has three venues to watch films, panels, and tasting events.
