The Honolulu Festival is one of Hawaii’s biggest cultural events. Through educational programs and activities, the Honolulu Festival shares the rich and vibrant Hawaiian culture with the world. The 26th Honolulu Festival is coming back March 6, 2020 to March 8, 2020 to the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center and Waikiki Beach Walk.
The convention center also hosts a bon dance and the fair features more than 100 food and craft vendors as well as family-friendly games and activities. The festival concludes with an iconic parade down Kalākaua Avenue.
- Check the local paper. There are Honolulu Festival newspapers located at the performance locations. The paper offers the latest information on entertainment schedules and the parade routes.
- Bring cash. While many booths accept credit cards, your safest bet is to bring cash just in case. There are also ATMs inside the convention center.
- Arrive early. If you want to see the parade, remember to arrive early and bring lawn. Stay in Waikīkī for the fireworks show.
