An institution for locals, the 50th State Fair returns to Aloha Stadium for four weekends: May 26th through June 25th. The state fair is one of the largest annual events in Hawaii, and affordable entertainment for the whole family!

The 50th State Fair for started in 1930 as a Hawaiian Products Show to increase business during the Great Depression, and would eventually become branded as the 50th State Fair when Hawaii was granted statehood in 1959.

The state fair features the he Amazing Anastasini circus with a big top featuring circus acts, “Diablo” juggling, aerial silk, hula hoops, and the “Thunder Globe.” The Fair also showcases variety of live entertainment from daredevil motorcyclists to daring performance atop the 40-foot-tall Space Wheel. New thrill rides include the Zero Gravity, Rockin’ Tug and Black Out. Other activities include the Altervision 3D experience, family friendly Pork Chop Revue, and petting zoo.

Weekends of: May 26-29, June 2-4, June 9-11, June16-18 & June 23-25

  • Fridays: 6pm – midnight
  • Saturdays: 4pm – midnight
  • Sundays except June 11: noon – midnight
  • Monday, May 29: noon – midnight
  • Thursday, June 8: 6pm – midnight
  • Sunday, June 11: 4pm – midnight
