Tiger Woods, coming off his first majors win in 11 years (his fifth Masters, and 15th major victories in total), is designing the newest luxury gold course on Oahu.

On Oahu’s Leeward Coast, Pacific Links International and the Makaha Valley Resort announced that one of the golf’s greatest champions, Tiger Woods, will revamp one of two golf courses planned for Makaha Valley.

The design will be by completed by Woods and his TGR Design company. Initial design renderings display a 7,300-yard course that finishes with a 633-yard Par 5 on 18. The course designs have already been posted online by Woods’ company, and you check the new Makaha Valley Resort golf course for yourself.

Gil Hanse is crafting the second golf course for Makaha Valley Resort. Hanse is best known as the architect behind the official competition course used during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

This is not the first golf course to be designed by golfings’ greats in Oahu. Other courses that were designed by pro golfers include the Palmer Turtle Bay course envisioned by golf legend, Arnold Palmer, and the Hoakalei Country Club by Ernie Els.
