Visit the USS Arizona and Historic Honolulu

Adults $71.09 | Children $68.71

History buffs from all over the world flock to the iconic USS Arizona Memorial, built to honor those who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  Your tour guide will coordinate your admission tickets, provide self-guided headsets, and give you an overview of the facility.  Self-guided headsets will allow you to experience the museum and other exhibits on display at your own leisure. Before embarking on a US Navy operated boat to take a tour of Pearl Harbor, visitors will get the chance to watch real footage of the attack at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and gain a deeper understanding of the events leading up to what is thought of as the start of U.S. involvement in World War II.

The USS Arizona Memorial itself is an incredibly unique structure built over the sunken battleship and remains the final resting place for the 1,177 crewmen who lost their lives.  See the “black tears” for yourself as oil slowly leaks to the surface of the ocean on this memorable tour of Pearl Harbor.  The shrine room includes the names of all those who fell during the attack, allowing visitors to pay their respects.

The afternoon continues on a historical journey into downtown Honolulu where you’ll visit  historic attractions like Iolani Palace, which is the only palace on American soil.  You’ll then drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery where your tour guide will explain the historical significance and history of the crater. And finally you’ll take in the historic sites of Kawaiaha‘o Church, Mission Homes’ Museum, and Honolulu Hale while ending your tour of Honolulu.

After spending a half day touring Oahu with IMI, we’ll return you to your Waikiki hotel where you can continue to enjoy the rest of your vacation in Hawaii.
